All payments for paid webinars and courses are final and non-refundable under any circumstance. In lieu of a refund, every registered attendee receives access to the recording for 2 months from the date the live session is conducted — this is the sole and exclusive remedy.
BillBuddy subscriptions Cancel anytime, no pro-rata
Cancel any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata, partial-period or unused-time refunds are issued.
Duplicate payments / payment failures Refund less fees
If you have been charged twice for the same service, or a payment failure has resulted in an over-charge, we will refund the verified excess amount, less any payment-gateway, currency-conversion or bank charges, within 10 working days.
1. Scope & binding nature
This Refund Policy applies to all paid services offered by TheWealthBuddy — including paid webinars, paid courses, BillBuddy subscriptions and any other paid digital products. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
By making any payment, you irrevocably accept this Refund Policy. This policy supersedes any prior representations, marketing copy or oral assurances regarding refunds.
2. Free webinars & events
Where a webinar or event is offered free of charge (such as the AI + Accounting Masterclass on 10 May 2026), no payment is collected and therefore no refund is applicable. You may cancel your registration at any time before the event begins by emailing contact@thewealthbuddy.org.
3. Paid webinars & courses — no refunds
Why we do not refund
Paid webinars and courses involve significant fixed costs — faculty time, infrastructure, content production, materials, support — that are committed before delivery and that we incur whether or not an individual attendee shows up. To offer high-value sessions at a low fee, we operate a strict no-refund model and instead provide extended recording access in lieu of refunds.
What does NOT qualify for a refund (illustrative, not exhaustive)
- You changed your mind after registering.
- You could not attend for personal, work, family or medical reasons.
- You experienced any technical issue at your end (poor internet, device problem, wrong link entered, OTP failure, browser issue, headphones, etc.).
- You attended part of the session and felt the content did not meet your expectation, was too basic, too advanced, too short, too long, too fast, too slow, or otherwise unsuited.
- You disagreed with the speaker’s opinion, methodology, accent, language mix or style.
- You did not download or view the recording within the 2-month window.
- You forgot about the class, missed reminders or registered with the wrong email.
- You believe the session content overlapped with content available elsewhere for free.
- The session was rescheduled by us (we will provide the new date and continued access; no refund).
- You did not receive an expected bonus PDF, checklist or material because you did not attend live (live attendance may be a condition for some bonuses; non-receipt is not a basis for refund).
- You purchased the wrong session, wrong tier, wrong number of seats, or registered the wrong attendee.
- You are dissatisfied for any other subjective reason.
In any of the above situations, your sole and exclusive remedy is the recording access described in section 4.
4. Recording access — the exclusive remedy
For every paid webinar or course, registered attendees receive access to the session recording for a period of two (2) calendar months from the date on which the live session is conducted. The terms:
- The 2-month period begins on the date of the live session, not the date the recording is delivered.
- The recording is shared via a private, attendee-only link, typically within 48 hours of the live session, but we make no guarantee of timing and delays do not extend the 2-month period or trigger any refund.
- Access is personal, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable, revocable and limited to private viewing by the registered attendee. You may not download, screen-record, share, redistribute, embed, broadcast, publicly display or republish the recording in any form or medium.
- If we detect link sharing, screen recording, downloading, redistribution or any other unauthorised use, we may immediately and permanently revoke access without refund and may pursue damages and other legal remedies.
- After the 2-month period, the recording link expires automatically. Extensions are not granted under any circumstance, including non-viewing, technical issues or personal hardship.
- For multi-session courses, each session has its own independent 2-month clock starting from that session’s individual delivery date.
- We are not obliged to provide a downloadable copy, transcript, slides, audio-only file or any other format. The format we provide is the format we provide.
- If the recording is unavailable due to technical reasons or force majeure, we may at our discretion provide an alternative session, transcript or summary; no refund will be due.
You expressly acknowledge that recording access is the sole and exclusive remedy in lieu of any refund and that this remedy is adequate consideration for your payment.
5. BillBuddy subscriptions
BillBuddy is offered on a subscription basis (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you choose).
- Free trial: a free trial period (e.g. 14 days) may be offered. The trial does not auto-convert to a paid plan; you must explicitly upgrade.
- Cancellation: you may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period. No pro-rata, partial-period, unused-time or mid-cycle refunds are issued.
- Annual plans: annual fees are paid upfront and are non-refundable in full once paid. You will retain access for the full annual term even after cancellation.
- Downgrade: downgrading to a lower-priced plan or to a free tier is allowed; the new pricing applies from the next billing cycle. No refund or credit is issued for the difference.
- Plan or feature change by us: if we change the features available in a plan during your active subscription, we may, at our sole discretion, provide an alternative plan or service credit; no cash refund is owed.
- Account closure: we will retain only data legally required (typically billing records for 8 years). Other data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
6. Limited exceptions
Notwithstanding the no-refund rule above, we will consider a refund only in the limited situations listed below, and only where you have given us prompt written notice and where verification confirms the situation.

For absolute clarity, situations not covered by the exceptions above (including all subjective dissatisfaction, all force-majeure events affecting only you, all third-party-platform issues affecting only you, all change-of-mind requests, and any breach of these Terms by you) do not qualify for any refund.
All refund decisions are at our sole and absolute discretion, except where a refund is mandated by Indian law and cannot be contracted out of.
7. How to request a refund
If you believe your situation falls within the limited exceptions in section 6, you must contact us within seven (7) working days of the event giving rise to the refund request. A refund request submitted after this 7-working-day window is permanently waived and will not be considered.
Email contact@thewealthbuddy.org with the subject line “Refund Request — [Webinar / Subscription Name]” and include:
- Full name and registered email address
- Date of payment and amount paid
- Payment method (card / UPI / netbanking)
- Transaction ID / reference number from the gateway
- Detailed reason for the request and the specific exception you are relying on
- Supporting evidence (bank statement showing duplicate charge, screenshot of failed transaction, fraud report from your bank, etc.)
We will acknowledge your request within 3 working days and respond with a final decision within 14 working days. The 14-working-day timeline does not entitle you to interest or any other compensation for the period.
8. Refund processing time & method
Where a refund is approved:
- The refund is issued to the original payment method only. We do not process refunds to a different account, card, UPI, wallet or person.
- Processing typically takes 10 working days from the date of approval. Actual credit timing depends on your bank, card issuer and payment gateway, and may take up to 21 working days for international cards.
- Payment-gateway fees, currency-conversion charges, taxes already remitted to the government, and any bank charges are not refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
- We are not liable for any delay or non-credit caused by your bank, card issuer, payment gateway or any other party outside our reasonable control.
- Where applicable GST has been remitted to the government and cannot be recovered by us, the GST component will be deducted from the refund.
9. Chargebacks & payment disputes
You agree to contact us first to attempt resolution before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute through your bank, card issuer or payment platform. Most issues can be resolved promptly through direct communication. Initiating a chargeback for a transaction that does not qualify for a refund under this Policy will be treated as a material breach of our Terms & Conditions.
Consequences of an unjustified chargeback include:
- Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your TheWealthBuddy account and access to all services, with no refund of any fees previously paid.
